It is a coldee. Little plants that think they can make it are leaning out from under the ice. One of the radiators in my apartment has gone nuclear and melted it’s own cap. I just hope the thing doesn’t pop. Speaking of pop, (how’s that for a segue) there is a new lil’ movie coming out with that crazy, muy loco skater Jason Jessee. There’s some sick slo-mo clips of him lofting frontside ollies in a pool. Salba is talking about JJ’s ollies like they come from dreams. The footage feels like flying. As for Jessee, I’m glad to hear he is still alive. He makes Jesse James look tame.

So… what was the deal with the Transworld article where he is burning chickens with a blowtorch? I thought it was fake. Turns out it may not be. Lately, it seems like there’s been a ton of documentaries on the old skool generals. My brother tried to get me to watch the Duane Peters Story on DVD, I heard it’s good.

Ladera Park’s skatepark just opened. Back in Cali over the break, my brothers and I snuck into the park. I got to carve some, and then… busted by security. Now it’s legit. Well, at least for “community residents” (read: pass card). Tz said there was a little ripper busting 3 foot fronsides out of the back pool.
