Ringside

So I haven’t posted in eons. Things have heated up at work on Horton, but I will try to post more. This print reminded me of lighter days. Reminder to self: Get my own home printing press and make some new prints.

This is a strange scribble inspired by Raffee, a Parisian photographer/toy maker/kin of mine who claims he is only a hobbyist. Check out his photo blog and decide for yourself.

This has got to be the longest stretch of time where I haven’t posted! My excuse is, I’m working on my first comic with a bunch of friends. Trying to anyway – Updates soon -

Stampede!

Sunday, December 18th, 2005

It was a mad rush on all loose ends this weekend. Friday night, there was a big corporate party in Manhattan. Saturday, I attacked my Xmas list. And Domingo? The dreaded mall. I did manage to check out the mega-ultra-ginormous-spectacle that is King Kong. What a ride! Tons of fun.

The CG Kong was so damn mind-boggling real, both visually and as an actor – a true flesh and blood character. I should also mention emotionally moving at times. Naomi Watts was… dang dude… she was mesmerizing. Whew.

So anyhow, it was crowded all weekend. There was some hardcore herding out there. You know who you are. Here’s a print I did way back when. Title: “Crowd.”
